Future plans for Centenary 646

Centenary 646 at Paul Gaunt's on 8th November, with the new owner present making preparations for moving it
Centenary 646, which is currently stored in the car park of the Paul Gaunt furniture warehouse near Blackpool Airport, has changed ownership. The new owner will be removing the tram from the Paul Gaunt premises, and has plans to convert it into offices complete with bedrooms and a bathroom. The tram is still available to purchase from the new owner via eBay, but if it can't be sold the internal fittings will be auctioned off instead, and the tram converted for further use as described above.

  1. I never thought I'd feel nostalgic for a centenary. Those Flexities are so soul-less

  2. Change of plans. See the updated plan to store it in a museum

  3. Dismantling is currently on hold while discussions are taking place with a museum, although there is still no certainty that 646 will be saved intact.
