Blackpool Illuminations Department have added a spacewalking astronaut above the tail of the Rocket at Gynn Square, to give added interest to the tableau. It's unfortunate that the right hand cab skirt panel, which was damaged prior to the Rocket being transported from Rigby Road, could not have been repaired in time for the Illuminations switch-on.
